Story behind
The Waiting Lodge

“True love doesn’t have a happy ending, because true love doesn’t end” A British girl named Anika came all the way to Pyin Oo Lwin to trackback her grandfather’s footsteps as her grandfather was a soldier outpost to Pyin Oo Lwin during the British colonial period.

Anika never expects that she will meet the love of her life during the visit to Pyin Oo Lwin. She falls in love with a local guy called Khin. They had many beautiful memories in this lovely charming hill town.

However, due to disagreement from her parent, she is being forced to leave Khin and left the country,

Khin spent his whole life waiting for her….

It’s difficult to wait, but more difficult to regret.

Escape into nature at The Waiting Lodge, where you can find plenty of greenery; numerous natural gardens and parks are within the vicinity. The resort was conscientiously built, making sure the greenery on site was still preserved as much as possible. The climate and terrain here is ideal for growing beautiful flowers all year round – we even have our very own herb garden.
